“Lupin” (Netflix)

The new French series Lupin contains all of our favorite things. Of course we loved it.

We're huge fans of capers and mysteries, which is one of the reasons we were so eager to dive into Lupin, the new French series that began streaming on Netflix earlier this month.

Lupin centers on Assane Diop, the son of a Senegalese immigrant to France with a troubled and interesting past. Assane's life is defined by the actions of his father Babakar, who was a domestic worker for the fabulously wealthy Pellegrini family, whose roots were deeply intertwined with the history of France.
