It's no secret that A League Of Their Own is the official favorite movie of the Lakshmi and Asha Show.

Given that, it's also not surprising that both of your friendly correspondents have closely been following news of the new Amazon Studios serial adaptation of the film since it was first announced back in March 2020 (you'd be forgiven for missing that news when it was announced--- we were all a bit busy then!)
