We venture into the world of South Indian comedy with the new Malayalam film "Padmini"

We've freely admitted over the years that one of our (rather large and glaring) pop cultural gaps is our lack of familiarity with the world of Indian cinema. Thanks to the world of streaming however, we've been lucky to have the opportunity to explore some of the newer offerings out of India today. As we were planning out this week's newsletter and looking at what is currently out there, the new Malayalam film Padmini (which is currently streaming on Netflix) caught our eye.
