Mister Miracle: The Great Escape is a tale of found family and the search for home
While neither of us grew up big comic book fans, we've both been intrigued by the latest graphic novels coming out of DC Comics. Often by BIPOC authors and featuring modern day twists on classic characters, these books often feature heroes and heroines who face racism, discrimination and poverty (and sometimes all three) while also coming into their powers and learning how to save themselves and their communities.
