When our copies of "Cameron Battle and the Hidden Kingdoms" hit our doorsteps we were immediately struck by a couple of things. The first was that it promised to weave Igbo and other Nigerian mythologies throughout its plot. The second was that it contained a lot of the classic elements that middle grade novels have become known for over the past 25 years or so.
